Ayahuasca Foundation Eighteen day ayahuasca retreat in Peru

18 Day Shipibo Ayahuasca Retreats

A COMPLETE TREATMENT – $4650

Ayahuasca Foundation shipibo ayahuasca retreat led by authentic Shipibo curanderos in Iquitos PeruThe eighteen day Shipibo ayahuasca retreat is an opportunity to receive a complete plant medicine treatment from an authentic curandero in the Amazon rainforest. Participants spend 18 days at the Ayahuasca Foundation’s Riosbo Research Center, participating in 9 ayahuasca ceremonies led by a Shipibo curandero and the assistant healers. In addition to the ayahuasca ceremonies, participants also receive a wide variety of natural plant remedies that cleanse the mind, body, and spirit, as well as remedies specific to their afflictions.

The Shipibo plant medicine tradition empowers participants to take greater control of their lives and their overall health. The unique qualities of the ayahuasca ceremonies provide participants with the chance to play an active role in the healing process, confronting their negativity, releasing past traumas, and pulling the roots of their illnesses. The plant treatments further enhance this process, working to boost the immune system, balance the digestive system, purify the nervous system, cleanse the circulatory system, and heal the emotional body. The treatment is complete and total, producing lasting positive changes on all levels and guiding you to realize for yourself the path to your health and happiness.

Complimentary practices enhance the effects of the treatments by helping retreat participants connect more with their consciousness through guided meditations, connect more with their bodies through yoga and massage, connect more with their emotions through breathwork and counseling, and connect more with their true nature through hiking and swimming. This retreat is intended for people who are committed to their healing and want to go all the way with their healing process to achieve the highest outcome.

MUCH MORE THAN AYAHUASCA

Ayahuasca Foundation eighteen day ayahuasca retreat plant bath and happinessOf course the ayahuasca ceremonies are at the core of the eighteen day ayahuasca retreat, but those ceremonies are supported by a wide variety of treatments all designed to remove the obstacles preventing healing from naturally taking place as intended. All living beings are designed to return to balance and harmony. We all have a divine motivating principle to heal within us, evident when a cut heals or aches and pains go away.

But, when there are obstacles in the way, they become a hindrance to the healing process, which is why we keep wounds clean or reset bones. The Shipibo healing tradition focuses on removing obstacles. The treatment provided on this retreat cleanses various systems:

  • DIGESTIVE – Cleansing the digestive system is done first so that plant medicines taken orally, as well as food, can be better absorbed. This also begins to target the overall immune system, which relies on a healthy balance of bacteria in the gut to enhance the healing process.
  • CIRCULATORY – Increasing circulation and oxygenation of the blood is done with a medicine taken daily that we call the blood/brain remedy, named for its ability to improve blood flow and as a result improve brain function. This remedy is taken every day of the retreat.
  • RESPIRATORY – Returning the mucus levels and production into balance helps to restore healthy breathing, the cornerstone of healing living. The results are seen in better sleep and improved response to negative elements in the environment.
  • NERVOUS – Cleansing the nervous system shakes loose long held emotions and increases communication within the biological system, enhancing the immune system response and stimulating more subtle sensory perceptive abilities.
  • IMMUNE – Reducing inflammation and increasing sensitivity, achieved through two other remedies taken every day, as well as following a healthy diet, getting quality rest, connection to nature, reduction of stress, and increase of positive emotion. The entire retreat is a loving embrace of the immune system.

The Ayahuasca ceremonies provide an incredible opportunity to remove our greatest obstacles: the deep traumas that have caused us to misidentify ourselves as undeserving of love, unworthy of happiness, infecting our relationships with inaccurate interpretations of our experiences. Through the amplified awareness that the ceremonies bring to our perceptive abilities, we can remove the detrimental misinterpretations of our past and replace them with the accurate truths of our expanded perspectives. We can remember our true nature, our childhood innocence, our divinity as spirits, completely deserving of joy, happiness, and love.

We can regain balance and harmony on every level, and achieve optimum health again. This is the intended goal of the eighteen day ayahuasca retreat.  This retreat has been offered for over a decade, and incredible healing has taken place. It is possible. It will require great effort, great commitment, and a great will power, but our team will be there to support you every step of the way.
