Riosbo Ayahuasca Research and Retreat Center
The film, A Seed of Wisdom, was made shortly after the opening of the Riosbo Ayahuasca Research and Retreat Center in Peru. The Ayahuasca Foundation had been operating for eight years when we opened this new center, devoted to investigating the healing powers of the Shipibo ayahuasca plant medicine tradition in the Amazon rainforest. Thanks to the incredible generosity and shared vision of The Grant Town Foundation, we were able to complete construction and open this unique and special place in 2017. We continue to improve the accommodations and offerings here, striving to further enhance the healing program participants can achieve during their stays with us.
CM Films and The Grant Town Foundation
CM Films and The Grant Town Foundation are both led by Christian Moran, a film maker with a passion for making real his visions for a better future. We began a relationship with Christian when we collaborated to create the film Ayahuasca Diary in 2008. We continued to stay in contact and when he became the head of the Grant Town charity organization, he reached out to offer the Ayahuasca Foundation the funding to create the Riosbo research center. The Grant Town Foundation also provides funding for the research conducted by Onaya Science at Riosbo, and also funds the retreats attended by military veterans in collaboration with Heroic Hearts Project or the current research on PTSD. We are so blessed and grateful for the friendship we have with the Moran family and look forward to continuing our work together for many years to come.
